We had the Dr.'s give us our first bit of good news today. After Lyric's second spinal tap to test her spinal fluid for the presence of Leukemia and treat it with chemo, it appears the tests have come back "Clean". No presence of Leukemia. We have to have two spinal taps come back clean before it means that the Leukemia has been for sure, wiped out from her spinal fluid. Right now she is having two taps a week for four weeks to treat her spinal fluid with chemo. Once we get two clean taps she will still have to have spinal taps for a period of time to monitor the fluid and ensure that it is gone. Overall this is great news.
