This morning Lyric had to have her feeding tube replaced after pulling it out yesterday. They were going to wait until Thursday and do it during her spinal tap operation since she would be sedated but her appetite has been a little suppressed. The Dr.'s decided it needed to be put back today and that meant without sedation. It only took about two minuets but was very uncomfortable and of course she screamed and fought. It's surprisingly a very small tube that runs into her nostril and down her throat. She has twice this afternoon pulled it out about two inches. I had to just shove it back in and really try to stand over her all day to keep her from messing with it. Hopefully she will get used to it quickly.
