Continuing to Battle High Temps & Infection

Lyric has been getting Tylenol every four hours today causing her temp to fluctuate from 101 to 103. She has ate nothing and drank maybe four ounces in two days and is spending the day drifting in and out of sleep. She has been really clingy, not letting me be away from her side for long. The team continues to take blood cultures to monitor how well the antibiotics are killing the infection. She will get three different antibiotics and IV fluids continuously for eight more days. We have to have three consecutive negative clotures to determine the infection is gone, so far we have had none. Hopefully we should hear by Monday whether she also has the flu or not.
