Lyric has been in a better mood and acting more like her self since she's been on the antibiotics. All we can do is wait for results from the blood cultures to determine what gave her the infection. She has had no fevers since coming to the E.R. Of course they will not be able to begin chemo until the infection is cleared up. The Dr. is worried that it might be in her central line. If so than she would have to go into surgery to have it removed, wait until it clears, than back into surgery to have a new line put in. Other than that, she has been playful and getting ready to have some kind of Christmas in the hospital.
