First Culture - Positive

Lyric's first blood culture taken in the E.R. came back positive today for the same dangerous infection she had a couple of weeks ago. I know now why she got sick so quick and am glad we took the ambulance. It's pretty scary this happened while we were at home. This kind of infection can come on so quick, even children already in the hospital can end up in the ICU. Hopefully the second culture will come back negative, showing that the antibiotics are working.
