Lyrics blood counts just came back and they are great. Lyric can also drop three of the medicines she takes twice daily. At the next visit she will be tested again to be on the safe side weather or not she will need to take the lovenox still. If she shows she is still factor five lupos, she will likely take the shot twice a day for the rest of her life.

Needles
After three attempts the nurse was able to get enough blood to check her counts. That was really rough to see your baby screaming from needles. I hate it. Now we wait for the results.

Fist Time At The Dentist

Lyric has been doing great since we came home. We have been spending a lot of time trying to catch up on things. She still has to take three medicines twice a day including a shot twice a day and probably always will have to. We go to the clinic on the 30th to get her blood counts checked and make sure there are no cancer cells. We will be doing clinic visits for the next five years. Lyric was 20 pounds when she got sick and left the hospital at 20 pounds. But after a couple of weeks she is now about 24 pounds and her hair is growing fast. She had her first dental visit this week and didn't like it too much until they gave her her own toothbrush.

Picc Line Out

Today's clinic visit went very well today. Lyric's blood counts were great and the Dr. was able to remove her picc line with no problems. She officially starts her clinic visits to monitor her counts a couple times a month, tapering off to once every few months over the next four years. The highest chance of a relapse will be during the first two years. Lyric can now take a bubble bath every day without worrying about lines in her body.

Last Day Of Antibiotics

Today is the last day for Lyric's antibiotics. It has been a ton of work giving the medicines. Tonight will be the last dose. Everything has been fine, no fevers or issues. Lyric will go to the clinic in the morning, get her blood counts checked and have the picc line removed. We are getting closer to her starting her clinic visits which is great. Hoping and praying everything stays on the up and up with no relapses.
